The Outputs

The TAM-bMOOC Research Project will generate the following outputs which include stakeholders in different sectors of education

Online spaces

  • This project website
  • A validated bMOOC sustained through training centres in Portugal 
  • A remixed and redistributed flexible open educational resource for Portuguese speaking countries. 
  • A facilitated and active e-community of practice for primary English teachers in Portugal.

Publications, reports and presentations

  • A handbook of practical information and assessment tools for primary English teachers.
  • A formative assessment information brochure for the school community and parents/caregivers. 
  • Recommendations for publishers and coursebook writers producing material for primary English education.
  • Publications in teacher magazines, academic volumes and journals, and an edited volume.
  • Presentations at teacher and academic conferences disseminating results and pedagogical implications.

A conference

The project will conclude with an international conference in the summer 2027 – “Early language teacher professional development through open education and technology-enhanced learning”- in collaboration with LE@D / Universidade Aberta to increase the visibility of the project outcomes for an audience composed of researchers, teacher educators and policymakers.
